About the Artist
Charlie Schneider is an artist and poet. One of his deepest joys is perceiving how people think: what an incredible process to observe, how people bring experience to bear on any new event. He is fascinated, as is only logical, by ideas, notions, interpretations, translations, and concerns. He also enjoys reading, baseball, and sometimes even cooking.
He has a Bachelors degree in Studio Art from Whitman College in Walla Walla Washington and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (where he met his partner, Nicole!). He also works with high school students to help shape their essays for college admissions. He has shown his artwork on fewer than 5 continents, but certainly more than 3. He might or might not be 40 years of age when you read this text.
